TERRIE'S BOOK HITS BEST-SELLER LIST
"A Plentiful Harvest: Creating Balance and Harmony Through the Seven Living Virtues," the latest book by Terrie, captures the #2 spot on the ESSENCE magazine best-seller list in the monthly’s April issue. ESSENCE, the premier lifestyle publication for African-American women, debuted "A Plentiful Harvest (Warner Books) at the #4 spot of the “hardcover nonfiction” category in its March issue.

In "A Plentiful Harvest" Terrie provides an inspirational guide to help women who are seeking fulfillment in their lives. Williams has found an empowering life philosophy in Kwanzaa, one of Black culture’s enduring spiritual rituals. Using the seven Living Virtues of Calling, Responsibility, Thrift, Love, Community, Spirituality and Creativity, Williams helps women achieve balance in their daily lives, reconnecting them to the truths of their heritage and the true needs of their souls. A Plentiful Harvest includes forewords by Iyanla Vanzant and ESSENCE magazine editorial director Susan L. Taylor.

Says Terrie, “I’m proud and touched that this book has really struck a chord in people. They understand what it’s like to put on a ‘game face’ when there’s stuff tugging at them on the inside. The book is helping people to open up and share.”

The book is Terrie's latest effort to reach people with a message of personal uplift—just one of her many ways of giving back to others. Terrie is also the founder of The Stay Strong Foundation, a national non-profit organization that supports America’s youth. The Foundation was established in conjunction with the release of Stay Strong: Simple Life Lessons for Teens, authored by Terrie and published by Scholastic, Inc., in April 2001. The Foundation encourages corporate and individual responsibility, develops educational resources for youth and youth organizations, provides and coordinates internships, sets up mentoring opportunities, and facilitates visits by prominent individuals and business professionals to schools, libraries, youth organizations and group homes.

Terrie is also Vice Chair of Players Govern Players Communications (PGP), a New York-based enterprise that creates powerful public relations, multicultural marketing and entertainment campaigns for personalities, products and entities. PGP is a fully-integrated, multi-media company that utilizes a unique poetic context to maximize the content for brand and sales velocity. The Terrie Williams Agency, long renowned as one of the country’s premiere PR firms, has been acquired as the public relations division of PGP Communications.

One of PGP’s international campaigns is the Recycling Inspiration Campaign (RI). The campaign consists of a number of program elements, beginning with the securing of awards previously-bestowed to noted personalities, and recycling them to individuals who are building dreams. By re-celebrating today's achievers (RI Ambassadors) we empower those who are seeking to elevate their dreams by believing in themselves. Williams is the spokesperson for RI.
